Guided Paddle Boarding at Deerfield Lake

This paddle boarding experience incorporates “Recreational Therapy”, designed to connect you with nature and be healing for the soul. We offer the best local guides combined with the most beautiful areas in the Black Hills! Deerfield Lake is a 'no wake' zone, perfect for a lackadaisical paddling experience or a laser focused, see every cove and current experience.

We start out from the Black Hills Rec Therapy office in Rapid City and take your crew and the paddle boards or kayaks to Deerfield Lake for the tour. 

You choose your intensity level and start time and we do the heavy lifting, the setup, and the gear cleanup. Our guides are locals who love the Hills and want to show you why it's the best place in the world! They are safety trained and we hold an outfitting permit from the US Forest Service- meaning we hold ourselves to incredibly high standards and so does the USFS!
